Field Briefing
What is Iron Blight?
Iron Blight is a single-player survival horror game by Ronesans Interactive, published by Rock Paper Publisher and released on Steam on 24 August 2026 after passing 50,000 wishlists. You spend one night in the Eastern Bloc town of Prasnova trying to reach your wife, Valeria, across a campaign of two chapters and 22 achievements.
There is no HUD, no health bar and no ammo counter. You check a magazine by hand, round by round, and you carry what fits in a grid. That design is why the same three questions keep coming up — what a given enemy costs you in bullets, which gun is worth detouring for, and what the difficulty modifiers actually change — so this site answers them with enemy threat ranks, a weapon list, all 22 achievements and a breakdown of Hardcore, Ironman and Cassette Tape Mode. Steam reviews sit at Very Positive, 218 of 240 at the time of writing.

Get Started in 5 Steps
- Rebind before you play. Keybinds showed the wrong key and could not be rebound until Patch 1.01, so update first and check the patch history if the option looks broken.
- Learn the kick. It stuns zombies and shoves groups, costs nothing, and is the reason two achievements exist. See the enemy threat ranks for what it does and does not work on.
- Check magazines by hand. There is no ammo counter. The inventory and reloading guide covers the manual check and what the grid costs you.
- Decide what a kill is worth. Gora and Kuvalda have achievements attached for good reason; the weapon list covers what players report using on each.
- Pick your run. Hardcore, Ironman and Cassette Tape Mode are three separate clears — the modes guide explains what each one changes before you commit twenty hours to it.

FAQ
What is Iron Blight?
Iron Blight is a single-player survival horror game by Ronesans Interactive, published by Rock Paper Publisher, released on Steam on 24 August 2026. You play a man trying to survive one night in the Eastern Bloc town of Prasnova long enough to find his wife, Valeria. It has no HUD, no ammo counter and a grid inventory, so every magazine check is something you do by hand.
Is it spelled Iron Blight or Ironblight?
The Steam store page and every Ronesans Interactive announcement write it as two words: Iron Blight. Ironblight as one word is common in search and will find the same game, but it is not the official spelling.
Is this the Ironblight from Tibia?
No. Ironblight is also the name of a creature in the MMORPG Tibia, and searches for bestiary entries, hunts and mounts belong to that game. This site only covers the 2026 Steam survival horror game Iron Blight by Ronesans Interactive.
How This Wiki Is Maintained
Iron Blight Wiki is an independent, unofficial fan resource for Iron Blight players — not affiliated with Ronesans Interactive.
- How we verify: Every number on this site is traced back to a Steam source: the store page, a dated Ronesans Interactive patch note, or a developer reply in the Steam forums. Anything we cannot trace is labelled unconfirmed instead of guessed.
- Update cadence: We re-read the Iron Blight news feed after each patch and revise the affected pages the same day. Patch 1.01 (26 August 2026) is the current baseline for every mechanic described here.
- What we don't do: We do not publish puzzle solutions or item locations lifted from stream footage we cannot check, and we leave a section short rather than padding it with guesses about content the game has not shipped.
